Gaskets are made from Virgin PTFE® that is pressed to create a corrugated surface providing an excellent seal. Use of a clamp for total pressure on the gasket helps to create a vacuumed tight seal. Gaskets made of PTFE are resistant to chemical corrosion. They can also withstand high temperature environments. The temperatures range is -260°C to 315°C.
